Retailer, auction house, or another dealer, they send the gun and a copy of their license to the store.
The gun goes in our book the day it shows up, and you get a call.

★ Straight answers
Selling to a buyer in another state, or sending a gun in for warranty work? Call the shop, outgoing transfers depend on where it's going and to whom. We'll tell you straight whether we can help and what it takes.
A valid government-issued photo ID at minimum. Depending on the firearm and your state of residence there may be additional requirements, we'll tell you exactly what to bring when we call you for pickup.
Federal law decides where some purchases must transfer. If your gun needs to go through the Frederick, MD store instead of Martinsburg (or the other way around), we'll route it right, that's the advantage of two stores under one roof.
We log guns the day they arrive and call you right away. Time in the store depends on the checks required for your purchase, plan on a short visit, not an afternoon.
